Providers must satisfy our business needs and requirements, including, but not limited to HealthSmart's credentialing and contracting requirements. The nomination process can take 3-6 months. This nomination does not guarantee that the provider will be accepted into the network. Prior to submitting nomination, check to see if provider is currently part of the HealthSmart network or ask the provider about his/her network status.
